Recently, the official website of the British government released the "Vaping in England: 2021 evidence update summary". This is an annual update report under the responsibility of the Department of Public Health (PHE) of the United Kingdom. The main content is to update the latest data on the use of e-cigarettes in the United Kingdom to provide information and insight into policies and regulations.

The UK is one of the best countries in the world to control smoking, and is also the first country to explicitly support electronic cigarettes as a smoking cessation tool. Since 2012, the British government has required the British Ministry of Public Health to update the safety review of electronic cigarettes annually before 2022. Since the release of the first report in 2014, seven reports have been released in succession.
