On 26th December 2021, the China Stateconcil issued a decision on "Amending The Regulations For The Implementation Of The Tobacco Mnopoly Law Of The People's Repulic Of China".

In order to strengthen the supervision of the new tobacco products such as E-cigarettes, the stateconcil decided to make the following amendments to the "The Regulations For The Implementation Of The Tobacco Mnopoly Law Of The People's Repulic Of China".

Adding one new article-65: "E-cigarettes and other new tobacco products shall be implemented with reference to the relevant regulations on cigarettes in these Regulations."

In addition, the order of the provisions will be adjusted accordingly.

This decision shall come into effect on the date of promulgation.

The "Regulations for the Implementation of the Tobacco Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China" will be revised and re-announced in accordance with this decision.
